''Enticing nose offers lemon peel and wet and powdered stone. Wonderfully sweet but firm, with perfectly integrated acidity enlivening the flavors of crystallized lemon peel, stone and minerals. Wonderfully perfumed and aromatic in the mouth, and quite light on its feet despite its obvious density of material. Finishes very subtle and extremely long, with superb cut. This is actually lower in acidity in 2004 than the estate's Batard.'' - ST

''This is almost as backward as the Bienvenues though supremely elegant white flower and subtle spice aromas peek through the moderate reduction yet the piercingly mineral flavors display a beguiling sweetness on the crystalline and incredibly precise finish that seems to have no end. This will be a great wine in time as it's clear that there is another dimension here compared to all of the previous wines.'' - AM
