"Good deep red. Knockout nose of raspberry, rose petal, minerals and white truffle. Pure silk on entry and in the middle palate. Harmonious acids lift and frame the raspberry, floral and mineral flavors. A wine of great breed, this really blossoms in the mouth, showing a profusion of floral nuances. Youthfully closed today, but expands impressively on the very long, slow-building aftertaste. Another 2002 with outstanding potential, but this is already impressively complex." -ST

"A completely different expression with seductive and sexy red and black fruit aromas blessed with a panoply of spice nuances plus an interesting note of citrus; in particular, the aromatic delineation is most impressive. The medium to full-bodied flavors are sweet, rich and very fresh with a sappy, intense and a hugely long finish that has a youthful firmness to it.
